To my fellow creative friends,
Welcome to my new Substack! Long-form writing is a new skill for me, but after 6+ years working in social media and the sports creative industry, I wanted to create a space to share some of the knowledge and experiences I’ve gone through to help others out.
As I reflect on this past year and transition away from primarily creating content for others, one thing that I feel the most energized by is seeing creatives gain confidence in their skills and save hours to their creative process.
It only feels right that I double-down on what brings me the most joy, and spend more time bringing that all to you folks more, in a algorithmic-less platform with detailed perspectives.

Brain Dumps
This collection will serve as my public brain dump of lessons learned and insights from my career so far. From graphic design concepts to content strategy takeaways, I’ll provide in-depth breakdowns of ideas and case studies.
My goal is to distill all that I've absorbed over the years into valuable content for you and make it actionable, so you can use some of these resources directly in your day-to-day work.

I don’t have it all figured out, so I aim for this to be a place of learning and growth for me as well. As I explore new topics related to the intersection of creativity, technology and media, I hope you’ll share your thoughts and participate in an insightful conversations. Building Writing Muscles
On a personal note, writing and communication have always been growth areas for me. Since leaving the sports industry, the one skill I am continuously asked to perform, yet struggle when it comes the time to perform is writing. See this as me committing to this as a habit to work on consistently working towards articulating ideas clearly.
Pay it Forward
I also want to use this platform to highlight other talented creatives and teams pushing the industry forward. For so long, the sports social media industry has naturally been a space walled of from the outside world (through gatekeeping), with a lack of knowledge and perspective. It’s time to peel back the curtain and collaborate on some of the hot topics going on in the industry, and how we can help each other grow!
All this being said, I want to make this very clear. My intentions are not to be one of those “newsletter” creators that floods your Inbox. I wouldn’t be in the position I am today (or have the confidence to put together something like this) if it wasn’t for the people before me that gave me opportunities to explore freely. I hope to give you the value and confidence to pursue the career you always wanted!
